Spring Class Offerings

Spring Semester Center Stage Production: Disney’s Frozen Kids

Do you want to build a snowman?  Join Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, and all of your favorite characters as they embark on an epic, ice-filled journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and the real meaning of true love. Adapted for young performers in K-6th grades, this musical includes favorite Frozen songs such as “Love Is an Open Door,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,” and “Let It Go,” as well as wonderful new songs from the Broadway production. This production of Frozen KIDS is sure to prove that “some people are worth melting for.”

Spring Semester Next Act & Main Stage Production: Disney’s Descendants the Musical

Disney's Descendants: The Musical is a brand-new musical jam-packed with comedy, adventure, Disney characters, and hit songs from the films! Imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost – home of the most infamous villains who ever lived – the teenaged children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil have never ventured off the island… until now. When the four troublemakers are sent to attend prep school alongside the children of beloved Disney heroes, they have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good? This show will be perfect for your 6th-12th grader!

Center Stage: Kindergarten - 5th Grade

This is the perfect class for elementary students ready to take center stage! In Center Stage, Kindergarten–5th graders will explore the magical world of theater through imaginative play, creative movement, music, storytelling, and beginner acting techniques. As they progress, they will dive into character development, storytelling, movement, and voice work. Each week, students will collaborate on scenes and play engaging theatre games that build confidence, creativity, and stage presence.

Next Act: 6th - 8th Grade

Middle schoolers will stretch their skills and imagination in Next Act! This dynamic theatre class offers students a deeper dive into acting technique, script work, character building, improvisation, and ensemble collaboration.

Main Stage: 9th - 12th Grade

For teens ready to refine their performance skills, Mainstage Players offers a focused, supportive environment where high school students can challenge themselves as actors and collaborators. This class emphasizes scene study, script analysis, ensemble work, and performance technique—including voice, movement, and emotional connection.

Homeschool: All Ages

Spotlight Children’s Theatre is excited to offer homeschool theatre classes this fall for students of all ages! Classes are grouped by age to provide age-appropriate instruction and experiences (Rising Stars, Next Act, Main Stage) but we also offer a mixed-age option—perfect for families who prefer to keep all their homeschool students together in one class (One Act). Whether your child is just starting out or already loves the stage, there’s a place for them at Spotlight!
